Dr. Ivis Getz received her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In her senior year of dental school she received an award of recognition in pediatric dentistry from the NJ Society of Dentistry for Children. After graduation, Dr. Getz completed an advanced two year training program in pediatric dentistry at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York.
Dr. Getz is a board-certified pediatric dentist holding Diplomate status in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a recipient of the Richard C. Pugh award for scoring in the top 3% of examinees on the written component of the Board Exam. Dr. Getz is committed to providing the highest quality dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and those with special health care needs. She strives to make the dental experience comfortable and rewarding for you and your child.
Her friendly manner and calm demeanor will put you and your child at ease. She recognizes that each child is a unique individual who deserves compassion and respect.
Dr Getz lives in Westchester County, N.Y., with with her husband, Matt — a New York City FDNY Lieutenant. They have two children, Elena, a 2nd grader, and Noah, who will be starting kindergarten this year. While not in the office, Dr. Getz enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
